Today, we received our notice today that confirms our trademark with the United States Trademark office. Guess what this means: we are be the only Kinetic Church in the United States!
You might wonder why this is even important. Most churches don’t do trademarks. Well, here are a few reasons why we went to the trouble to trademark the church’s name:
- a trademarked name insures quick and easy web searches nationally. Our church tends to impact the lives of a web savvy crowd. When you search for us…you should only get us. If there were 50 Kinetic Churches, it might be incredibly difficult to find us.
- a trademarked name helps us clearly brand our name in the community and nationally. Because Charlotte is a city made up of people from across the nation, establishing a national brand insures a constant flow of visits from Charlotte’s new residence. Kinetic Church is on websites, blogs and periodicals that are viewed nationally; we are establishing an national brand here. Our trademark eliminates market confusion.
- we are a church that places a high value on creativity. How appropriate is it that we are uniquely Kinetic Church?
