An SNL Recalibration
This weekend I’ve been gathering together all of my travel supplies for a mission trip to India with Noah. It’s been a little hectic trying to make sure that we don’t forget anything.
Last night, as I watched Saturday Night Live, my life recalibrated during one 5 minute sketch (a rare moment for SNL). I have a feeling that the message of this bit is just the beginning of a lesson that I will be learning on our 15 day pilgrimage to India.
Hopefully, this sketch impacts you like it did me.

Hey Honey,
I can’t wait to hear about all the things you and Noah will not be complaining about when you get back! I look forward to being checked by both of you when I whine about dumb things upon your return!
Have an amazing trip!
Brilliant sketch. So glad you shared it with us – via our functioning high technology (manufactured in China or other Far Eastern country). Reminds me of a quote:
“For those who would learn God’s ways, humility is the first thing, humility is the second thing, humility is the third thing.” – Augustine of Hippo
