Mug Your Neighbor

Creativity / Featured / April 28, 2014

This past Easter at One Life Church, we took to the streets with our annual “Mug Your Neighbor” campaign (originally given to us by the great Carl George). This campaign is so much fun!

Here’s how is works: about 6 weeks before Easter, several hundred customized mugs are designed and ordered with our church’s website URL wrapped around the cup. We ordered item #111699 for $1.45 each after shipping from 4imprint.com. They have a super fast turn around time and you can get your mugs in hand within a week.

Mugs are a fantastic give away because they have a super long shelf life. If you don’t believe me, just take a look in my kitchen cabinet.

Next, several hundred matching Easter invite postcards are designed and printed at vistaprint.com. Again, fast and cheap printing. (but always be sure to check retailmenot.com for a coupon code before ordering).

Then Four weeks before Easter Sunday, mugs and cards are unveiled and passed out to the congregation as an evangelistic tool for members to use when inviting friends to Easter service.

Above is a copy of the card that we handed out and below is a shot of our mug.
