Yesterday was unbelievable. People giving their lives to Christ and Safety Day, what more could you ask?

Our worship service yesterday was good. But it was during invitation, that the coolest thing happened. (if you were there, you missed it) Jane (Jenny Weem’s sister) came forward to give her life to Christ. What a moment. That made my day! (We’ll baptize her this week)

Following service, I made my way to Safety Day in Harrisburg. For the past couple of months, Jenny Weems and Diane Cleland have been working their tails off to make this event a huge success. On July 4th we gave out over 1000 flyers advertising the event and last week we were in the Harrisburg Horizons. We were well prepared.

This is the best part: despite the constant threat of rain, the volunteers of Kinetic maintained the best attitudes. They were absolutely amazing even though it was hot, humid, sticky and slow. Our volunteer staff had the “whatever it takes attitude” that makes our church the best place in town – UNBELIEVABLE!! I am so proud!
