I recently ran across this inspiring tool for choosing color schemes for print and web. It’s called COLOURlovers. Choosing the RIGHT color for the job can always present a interesting challenge.
Anyway, this site might provide you a little mojo, though you may have to dig for a few minutes to begin to understand what’s happening. I personally love the “trends” tab.
Oh, and while I’m at it, another great site for creative design inspiration is notcot.org. Enjoy.
Here’s a screen shot of the trends page:

this was helpful. thanks.
i’m color-blind. write something relevant to me. like something about shades of grey, or, cool backbeats in jackson five songs. better yet, the top 10 bass lines of all time. (that may be too subjective, but i could weigh in, for sure) in fact, here is a list of things you could write about:
1. splenda versus sweet-n-low - title: “yellow is the new pink.”
2. the shelf-life of worship songs - title: “fifteen minutes”
3. the election - title: “who will deliver the best prom” (i mention this one because the whole situation sounds like they’re both running class president)
4. emergent speak - title: “it is our heart to create a framwork of interdepentent communities of faith leaders, catalyzing an apostolic visional movement towards missional-based conversations…organically, of course.” (or: circle time at the local coffee shop)
there you go. write on!
