Fun then Misery

The Church / June 7, 2007

Today, was a fun tech day. We installed a brand new sub-woofer (ours is blown) and WiFi in the theater.

Then, I went Northeast Medical center to visit and pray with Tracy Hime’s mom. I’m honestly not sure I know all of her medical issues, but I wanted to be there. It was only two minutes into my visit with Jeff and Tracy that the nurse walked in with the “bad news.”

Over the next hour, the nurse explained the death process and prepared the family for the final moments of Nanny’s life. I can’t tell you how privileged I felt to be present during such an intense and intimate moment.

I’m glad I’m a Christian. I don’t know how someone would survive these moments without a strong faith in God. .
