Clothe Charlotte gets Press

Headline / The Church / December 15, 2008

Clothe Charlotte has received a ton of press over this past weekend! It is exciting to be a part of this amazing opportunity to impact Charlotte by attempting to collect enough coats, hats and gloves to accommodate every homeless person in the entire city (estimated at 5000)

Saturday night, FOX and Charlotte News 14 both did stories on the movement and today, Clothe Charlotte made the front page of the Charlotte Observer! AMAZING! If you’d like to read the article online, click here.

Just so you know, it looks like we are still in need of a ton of kits for this Saturday’s distribution (drivers are starting to pour in.

I get so excited every time I think about it because I feel like this is something the first century church would do.

I felt the need to say that my clothecharlotte team is amazing (nathan, heather, christina, daniel, michelle) and should be proud of their effort. 3 days and counting, so if you are holding on to a kit bring it in.
