Center of the Target

The Church / October 28, 2007

Occasionally, there are incredibly obvious moments where I know our church is in the center of God’s will.  Tonight was one of those nights.

Here’s the deal: our mission at Kinetic is to make disciples who make disciples. Whenever I see our mission in the flesh, I know that we’re winning.

At 5:00 tonight, I began my fight through the Panther’s traffic toward the George W. Lyles YMCA. There, I met Stacey Kelley for her baptism. WHAT AN AWESOME NIGHT! Stacey was invited by  Anna Fleig (who we baptized recently) and Anna was invited by Tracy Himes (who came on our opening Sunday): disciples who make disciples.

What a wonderful, magical night to have the opportunity to see Kinetic Church’s mission lived out. Tonight was a home run on so many levels; it was the center of the target for Kinetic!
