To Those Who Stole Our Stuff

Tomorrow, we will launch a brand new homepage. Here’s a quote from the text on that page:

The “church trailer” billboard campaign is our intentional attempt to make contact with the people who took our church’s stuff. Our hopes of recovering our stolen property have faded but our dream of meeting our offenders has not.

If you know the people who stole our trailer, please ask them to watch our video message to them. It’s the reason for this entire deal.

Today, I made this video to communicate with “those who stole our stuff.”

Good video, I think it sets the right tone.

      Kinda interesting – I went to submit – and noticed I has God Video up there – missed a “o” – maybe….

    3. Dave, I am proud to be in your company and your churches company, this is why you planted a church, this why you are you. May this be a moment predicated on the Glory of our God in the dark moment.

Dave. I just reconnected with your site and must say, to see the videos and billboards was very powerful. It’s amazing how God works through certain situations!! I pray that your thieves find this video.

Dave – I saw the billboards yesterday on my way down to Gaffney! Couldn’t believe it! Awesome response from you guys though! I pray God will use it in big ways – starting with getting to the thieves and many others!!!

Heard I missed you at DD the other morning too! Grace and peace!

      Dave,
I came across your blog as a “fellow competitor” in the blogging tournament. Upon arriving here, I found this video. I must confess to you that I was moved by it and inspired by the stance of your church in this matter. We have just finished a series based on the TV show LOST, and in conclusion, we looked at how we have a requirement to go back…to help rescue those left behind after we’ve been rescued. And it’s not the worthy or the deserving we need to be searching for, it’s the worst of sinners. I shared this video with our church as a way of demonstrating what that looks like.

Thank you and Kinetic Church for being such a powerful witness in this difficult circumstance. People are watching…and we, for one, are inspired by it. We join you in prayer for your efforts.
